I'm Wheelchair
Bro.

I'll get you airborne. Landing alive, guaranteed!

Real problems don't wait their turn, and I'm done being scared of them. Crash, adjust, roll again. I call it the Wheelchair Way. WTLab is where I keep the tools. The serious kind.

Brush lettering in Chinese, roughly: "Huh? Wait, what? Oh, come ON!"

The Wheelchair Way

The Wheelchair Way, in four panels

Not a methodology. A habit I picked up by crashing.

  1. Huh?

    01 · Real problems

A real problem shows up. It rarely knocks, and it never checks your calendar.

  2. Wait, what?

    02 · Room for error

Wrong math, wrong read, wrong guess: budget for all three. And if you don't get it, say so.

  3. Oh, come ON!

    03 · Resilience

Crashed. Swearing is allowed. Staying down isn't. Wheels still there? Then so am I.

  4. OK. Again.

    04 · Keep adjusting

Tilt the angle, keep rolling. If the next crash looks better, that counts as progress.

Comics

Essays are live on Jim's Talk · the comics page here isn't built yet

Everyday stories in plain talk. The crashes at work and the stuck bits of life are funnier in panels, and easier to get. (Drawn in Traditional Chinese.)

↓ It gets serious from here. Wheelchair Bro, please keep it down.

Each instrument observes or calculates one operational dimension. Everything listed here works today, and opens in the existing WTLab tool interface.

Workspace

Integrated Workspace

One place to see each tool's current working data. Here's the honest state of it:

  • It only shows working data from the Quick modes for now.
  • Calculations still happen inside each tool. The workspace itself calculates nothing.
  • The data is temporary working state, not permanent storage.
